Role of Chair
Being Chair is really a simple task.
You are required to head a committee of 12, coordinate meetings and maintain an overview of all the activities of Bedale and District u3a.
Each member of the committee has a role which helps the u3a to run smoothly, so that the majority of organisational work is completed without the need for any intervention.
As titular head of Bedale and District u3a, you are expected to front most monthly meetings and maintain some contact with other local u3as.
It is not an onerous duty and committee meetings can be enjoyable!
