A very enjoyable and relaxing walk in February sunshine, return walk along the towpath from Ware to Hertford We were a group of nine people and some of the new people to the group were able to walk at their own pace and found it quite an easy going walk. Once we got to the town of Hertford, we enjoyed a coffee break at one of the cafes, whch gave the new member the opportunity to socialise and get to know the rest of the group.

A short walk of 3.4 miles from Dane End. It was a lovely walk with wild flowers in the woods: wood anemones, cow slips and forget-me-nots.
