Salisbury & District

Welcome

Welcome to Salisbury & District u3a. ‘u3a’ means 'University of the Third Age’ and we are a community of people no longer in full-time employment that teaches and learns together. We were founded in 1987.

During the coronavirus pandemic we were holding Monthly Meetings on Zoom, but now we are happy to be back live at the Methodist Church in Salisbury. We also run 50 or so study groups and organise outings to places of interest.

Please browse our website for a flavour of what we are about and what we offer to our members, and check the Events page for details of the Monthly Meetings.

Members of other u3as can become Guest Members of Salisbury & District u3a by quoting their existing membership in their application. Guest Members can join our Groups, space permitting.

Like most u3a groups we are a registered charity and affiliated to the Third Age Trust. There is a national website that gives more information about the organisation and its activities, nationally and regionally. There is a link to this in our Links page.
