Groups
Individual Group Leaders decide on their timetable and frequency of meetings. They are responsible for specifying the size of the group, communicating with the group and monitoring the waiting list to see if there is an opportunity to create a second group.
The Leaders will specify costs of running the group, such as venue hire, or the cost of purchasing books or materials, for example. Where group leaders hold meetings in their homes there is usually a nominal charge of 50p to £1 per meeting to cover the cost of refreshments.

Groups are open to all Salisbury and District U3A members as well as "guest members" from other u3as.
If you have an idea for a new group don't hesitate to contact the Group Co-ordinator for help in starting it up.
