Joining
Meetings are held usually on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at 10:30am till about noon, at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham. The morning includes refreshments, usually a guest speaker and information on the various group activities you may enjoy.
You are very welcome to come to a meeting to find out what goes on, and have a look round at what is available.
When you arrive at the entrance foyer, look out for our team of Greeters who are there to help you, answer questions, and show you around.
You do not need to join immediately, if you wish you can attend up to 3 group meetings to make sure it is right for you, before joining.
HOW TO JOIN
When you are satisfied this U3A is for you, you can join in two ways:-
At a Meeting
You can join a monthly meeting where the membership secretary will be on hand to take a cheque payment or cash and complete a membership form.
By Post
You can download a Membership Form by clicking on the 2024/25 Membership Form (on the right of this page in blue), print it out, fill in your details, and post, with a cheque payment, to the Membership Secretary at the address shown on the form.
Annual subscription £15- April to March (12 months) £10- September to March (7 months) £5 – January to March (3 months). Members who are 90 years or above are classed as Honorary Members and this entitles them to free membership.
We can only accept cheque payments, BACS payments or cash not cards.
