The next Luncheon has been booked For the 19th of March 2019 at the Bold Forester, (Beaulieu road, The New Forest. Hampshire SO40 4UQ) t/phone 02380 175588.The only way I know of how to get there, Is you drive though Ashurst, and turn Right at the dual carriage way past Longdown activity farm to the T junction and the pub is on the right. At the usual time of 12.00 for 12.30 in the name of John or Lyndhurst and district U3A.(Watch out for the road Works traffic). It may be finished by then hopefully. The pub has just changed hands It IS now owned by the same company that own the Trusty Servant etc, the food and the place is quite nice.(Well I like It).

We are going to join forces with the Days out group, being as at lest 75% of the Lunch Club, group are members of the Days out group, so it seems a good idea to join them the usual time is 12.00-12,30,at the restaurant.

Not only is it a Pub-restaurant, But they have a shop there, that sell All interior design stuff IE, ornaments, cushion, signage, cards, photo frames, etc, IT is near Canada common, All I can help you with is that it is just off of the A36 at a small roundabout sign posted Canada,and the Rockingham Arms, I do not know if there is an other way to the place. It is right by the traffic Junction of the Romsey road, it used to be where the old Tex-Mex, Del Rio, Restaurant was.

Apparently it has been revamped by the new owners and made a lot smarter with new staff, kitchens, etc.
