AGM 2022 Minutes
Minutes of the 2022 Annual General Meeting.
New Constitution
A copy of the new Constitution to be adopted at the AGM. This is a model constitution adopted by most other u3a's.
Most of the Sections within the document are as the previous Constitution adopted in 2018 but in more detail.
There are 3 Sections that have changed and need to be brought to members attention.
Section 10 General Meetings.
Meetings may now be also held on-line or hybrid (some members present at meetings and others on-line) should
it be required.
Section 15 Votes.
Members may now vote at meetings by proxy or electronically should it be required.
Section 16 Officers & Trustees.
The total period of time a member may be an Officer or Trustee has increased from 6 years to 9 years.
There are also changes to conditions of service.
