Awareness Raising
Those of us familiar with u3a know how valuable it can be to those no longer in full time employment.
Just count how many people you have met and now count as friends through belonging to Grantham u3a. Friends you may well have just not met but for Grantham u3a.
That said I feel we are obligated to spread the good news. u3a seems to be one of Grantham’s best kept secrets. As part of that we have produced some roll-out banners and spent a pleasnt few hours distributing information about the u3a to ASDA shoppers.

The 2022 AGM in the Guildhall Ballroom was attended by some 70 people and in addition some 60 plus members voted online. Following the AGM our Guitar Group entertained us and refreshments were served. There can't be many AGMs where one can claim that they were "dancing in the aisles"!
