CYGNet

This is a benefit of your membership however if non members are interested in investigating any of these uƷa directly from our links please feel free to use them.

From 1st July 2023 Garforth, Kippax District uƷa are part of the Central Yorkshire Network Group (CYGNET).
This is a group of uƷas who have agreed that, provided there is space, we can visit/join each other’s activity Groups, classes or events without the need to join that uƷa, although you will be expected to contribute to any expenses of the group or event.

Attending the monthly, or regular, members meeting of other uƷa is excluded from the CYGNET agreement due to space limitations.

If you wish to join or visit an activity in one of the participating uƷa areas the next steps are:
• Review the groups on offer by using the above links
• Contact our liaison for Garforth, Kippax & District who is Wendy Bartholomew-Esders on this link: CYGNET Enquiry to Garforth-Kippax
who will liaise with the relevant liaison on your behalf.
• Wait for Wendy to contact you, this should not take too long, then follow the instructions you are given by Wendy
• When you attend your chosen activity group, your membership number and any payment with you
• Introduce yourself to the activity group convenor/leader and enjoy the meeting!
• Please feel free to help us spread the word by contributing a small resume for our monthly newsletter, via the newsletter link, thank you.

Any non members are free to contact any of our partner uƷa’s should you wish to join them directly,
this will not be a problem. Please be kind enough to let them know where you saw their name.
