Interest Groups

Interest Groups 2020-21

We offer a wide range of interest groups which are available for members to join. Members may attend as many as they wish. As a result of the pandemic and requirements for social distancing, groups have had to alter how they work but we are still very keen to keep groups running where possible. Many of them are meeting through Zoom, WhatsApp or email.

Monthly members meeting
The monthly meeting of members takes place the first Wednesday of every month at 1.30p.m. and usually features a speaker and an update of activities. These topics are listed under EVENTS page. Members are sent the Zoom log in details and anyone else who would be interested in attending to sample a meeting may do so by contacting the Membership Secretary for the zoom details. Non members may attend up to two meetings

Group Convenors
Each group is facilitated by a Convenor who is a volunteer from the group. Each group decides for itself how often it wants to meet, when and where.

New groups
We are always keen to support new interest groups meeting. If you are interested in starting a new group, please let us know.
