Groups

Our current interest Groups are shown below. There are 2 Group Co-ordinators, who are also committee members and can be reached (via the contact page) with any queries or suggestions you may have. If necessary, they will liaise with Group organisers accordingly, on your behalf.

Any member can offer to start a new interest Group at any time.

All our interest Groups are self supporting, any additional costs a group incurs are not included in your membership subscription. It is a requirement of all U3As that you must be a member before you can attend any interest groups. Many Groups meet in members’ homes and it is usual to contribute a nominal amount towards refreshments. If this is not possible and a room needs to be hired the cost would be shared between the members of the Group.

There is a wealth of information accessible to members on the National U3A website where you can find books, cds and dvds, on all kinds of subjects. You can also avail yourself of help from fellow U3A members (subject mentors) through the Main website, and the magazine that is sent out.
