The Photography and PC/Laptop groups meet regularly every two weeks, from 1.30-3.30pm, at B.O.P.H. Charfleets Close.
PLEASE CHECK THE DIARY PAGE ON THIS SITE FOR GROUP MEETING DATES
The photographic group has been meeting regularly every 2 weeks at Business Opportunities for the Physically Handicapped on Charfleets Industrial Estate.
We have currently been discussing the correct way to hold your camera and have discussed what the aperture is and what aperture setting should be used for what picture. On the intervening Tuesdays we try to meet to go for a photo shoot to practice what we have been discussing and then at the next meeting at BOPH evaluate the photographs we have taken.
Over the next few meetings we will be discussing how speed affects the photographs taken and how aperture and speed combine to create good photo. You do not need an expensive camera to join us and we help each other. Additionally at our fortnightly meetings we discover how to use photo editing software and how to repair old photos.
The Photography Group is very proud of the repairs and improvements they can make to old photos. Please see example below of the before and after effects.
If anyone has old photos they wish repaired or transferred to disc, we are willing to do this.
A small donation would be welcome for this service, if possible.
