WE HOLD OUR MONTHLY MEETINGS AT

ST. NICHOLAS' CHURCH HALL, LONG ROAD, CANVEY ISLAND

DOORS OPEN AT 9.45AM AND WE WOULD ASK THAT MEMBERS ARE SEATED BY 10AM SO THAT ANNOUNCEMENTS AND NOTICES CAN START BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION OF THE INVITED SPEAKER

AFTER THE SPEAKER TEA, COFFEE AND BISCUITS ARE AVAILABLE AND MEMBERS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO READ THE NOTICES ON THE NOTICE BOARD.

AT THE BACK OF THE HALL MEMBERS CAN ENQUIRE ABOUT AND PAY FOR THE SOCIAL EVENTS AND TRIPS WITH DIANE, VISIT THE DINING CLUB AND THEATRE GROUP TABLES TO PUT THEIR NAMES DOWN FOR MEALS AND THEATRE TRIPS AND VISIT LINDA AT THE GROUPS TABLE TO MAKE ENQUIRIES AND RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR CURRENT GROUPS.

We appreciate parking can be tight when we have a full Friday meeting, especially if you arrive close to 10am. Although most members do park sensibly, we have been asked by the church to remind members again not to double park or block people in as not all the cars in the car parks are for our meeting and to take special care if parking on the road by the side particularly to leave plenty of access room for prams etc. to get down the middle. Sensible parking prevents embarrassing interruptions to the meeting asking people to move cars.

We would also like to ask our members not to arrive at the car park until after 9.30 please

There is parking at the rear of the church - see diagram to the right of this page and free parking in the car park at the clinic, a short distance away.
