WALKING OVER 5 MILES: Thursday 22 February 2024; Walk around Wapping
Thirteen hardy souls met at Benfleet station to get to Canary Wharf on a very wet day.
After coffee at Wetherspoons we followed the Thames path to the Town of Ramsgate pub in Wapping for lunch. This walk was in respect to Vivien Peck who sadly passed away last month as this was one of her favourite walks with a glass of Pimms in this pub. A celebratory toast of Pimms was made in honour of Vivien during lunch.
An enjoyable day in spite of the weather.
