D- Water Fitness/Exercises in Water
What it is: This Group has been enjoying water exercises weekly for around 30 years., and anyone can benefit from these classes. They were planned by two retired physiotherapists who designed the exercises specifically to keep the whole body flexible, we have maintained this format.
We do all our exercises in the shallow end of the pool. Many members cannot swim but love the feel of the water around the body, taking their weight. It enables us to stretch limbs without harm and really does keep us flexible and strong. Those who like a swim have a quarter of an hour at the beginning and a little time at the end.
We are a happy group, having plenty of laughs and helping each other. Many members stay on afterwards for a cuppa and a chat.
When it is: 1.30 - 2.30 pm, every Monday (not bank holidays)

Cost: about £24 for an 8 week block, first session free
