M- G&S Appreciation Group

A group for those who enjoy the operas of Gilbert and Sullivan. This year we shall explore the genesis of the operas and the history of the Gilbert-Sullivan-D’Oyly Carte partnership using modern and historical recordings and contemporary photographs and illustrations. We can also explore some of Gilbert’s plays and ‘Bab Ballads’ as well as hearing some of Sullivan’s other music.
