L- Discover French Culture

These meetings will be useful to those who have an interest in France and would like to know more about the country and the culture. The course is in two parts.

Members are encouraged to research and speak (either in French or English) about the topics agreed by the group. We will look at a variety of French texts relevant to our studies which includes audio text by native speakers and also some grammar and vocabulary as necessary. Some knowledge of French will be useful but this is not primarily a French conversation group. The aim is to further an interest in the country and culture whilst improving our spoken French.

The class structure is as follows: Every two weeks a relevant article is sent to the group. Questions and suggestions are included. During the following two weeks, individually, they respond in their own time. We have reading and research which we share and telephone when needed.

Happy to have another two new people.
