C- Living History
Living History
This a group for those interested in sharing what they have learned from various life experiences which still resonate today.
The group will operate whereby each member comes prepared to share about an event which has significance for them. Examples could be related to education, family, travel, financial, work and so on. We will agree before the meeting a particular year for us all to focus on, and also consider some national and international events taking place that year.
We will consider whether things have been learned from those events.
Consider this group for an alternative, challenging and definitely amusing take on History. The Group leader has previously run such a group elsewhere.
The intention is to meet at 10.00 am on the 4th Tuesday of every month, for a discussion of two hours each time. Meeting will be by Zoom initially, while planning to subsequently move to face-to-face meetings in the Clifford Street u3a rooms.
