There are two Travel Sections in York u3a, run by volunteer members, the two sections focus on different destinations. In both cases the trips are open to ALL York u3a members.
Travel Abroad - This group organises small groups of u3a members to travel together on interesting itineraries chosen from the brochures of various travel companies. Members can suggest destinations. All trips are advertised via the email. If you would like to travel abroad with like minded u3a members, contact the group leader for further details via the Travel Abroad page and sign up to receive updates of plans.
UK Travel - A five-day residential trip is organised each year, usually by coach, exploring different areas in the UK. There are short breaks of 1 or 2 nights staying in a hotel and each month we run a one day trip to a place of interest. Any scheduled trips are listed below.
