O- Travel Abroad

What it is: Do you enjoy travelling abroad with like-minded u3a members? If you have not already done so, why not sign up with the Travel Abroad group? Send your email address and membership number to group leader.

All are trips chosen from travel companies’ regular itineraries, and have small groups of u3a members travelling. Trips farther into the future may include Uzbekistan, Turkey and Cappadocia, Provence, and Puglia.

Timeless Provence run by Riviera Travel for the dates 16-23 October 2023

Staying in the 4* Grand Hotel Roi Rene in Aix-en-Provence with visits included to Cassis, Aix-en-Provence itself, Avignon, Arles, the Camargue, the Luberon Hills, and the famous Pont du Gard.

All breakfasts are included, with two dinners in the hotel and two dinners in restaurants which offer typical Provençale cuisine.

There are 24 places, with 10 single rooms.

The cost,Gatwick to Gatwick, is £1599 pp in a twin or double room. For a single room there is a £439 supplement, making the cost £2038 pp. Deposit is £200.
