We are a small friendly group of music lovers with wide-ranging tastes, the aim being to expand our knowledge and appreciation of music in its various forms. Courtesy of the U3A equipment at our disposal, our once-monthly meetings include viewing documentaries on classical composers, the development of music as form of entertainment over the ages, musical concerts/performances, the life and works of various musicians in a variety of styles.
Individual members of our group also give presentations on their favourite pieces of music/ performers which always provoke lively discussions as memories are stirred. New members are always made most welcome.
