Wymondham U3A has a range of interesting groups, most of which meet monthly in members' homes. This limits the size of each group, but enhances participation.
Each group is led by a Leader (or perhaps more), who may be a specialist in that field, or may simply act as a convener with everyone learning together. The group members decide how and what they will study and when they will meet. A small charge may be made to meet costs. Leaders give their services without payment.
Simon Wade, Caroline Moffatt and Lorna Tomlinson are proposing a new gardening group. It will consist of outings to various gardens and meeting at each other’s gardens to discuss and give each other advice and support. Hopefully plant swaps will also be possible.
As now is the season for doing things in the garden we would like to get the group going quite quickly.
Anyone who is interested, please contact Lorna : email@example.com
