Members bring along whatever they are working on and continue with this in a sociable and friendly atmosphere.
The crafts vary according to members' tastes and interests. We have knitting, crochet, various sewing techniques, such as embroidery, appliqué, patchwork, quilting, paint and stitch and it is interesting to see what other people are doing and learn from them.
Sometimes one of the members will run an informal workshop in a particular craft or technique. We have had instruction in crochet and in crazy patchwork so far.

Some of the members are taking part in a group project to produce a wall hanging depicting all the groups in our Wrekin U3A. The name of a group is drawn out of a "hat" and the member then interprets that on to a standard panel in whatever technique they choose. The panels will eventually be joined together to create the wall hanging.
