MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL SECTION

Membership and the Current Coronavirus Pandemic - April 2020

In response to the current coronavirus pandemic the committee has taken the decision that this year's renewal fee will also cover next year's membership too. This is because we really have little idea when our activities will be able to resume, and once resumed, whether they will need to be suspended again.

This means whenever you renew the cost will be £15, or £11.50 for an associate member and will cover your membership until March 2022.

Many members have already renewed and we thank you for that because we do have some on-going expenses that need to be covered.

If you haven't renewed do not worry as everyone's membership has been extended and the usual 8 week grace period will be implemented from the date we start activities again.

In the meantime if you do wish to pay:

• Please pay ONLY by using the On-line portal or by using BACS. See details below
• DO NOT return a renewal form; it is not necessary.
• DO NOT send cash or cheques. The membership secretary does not need to make trips to the bank at this time.
If you wish to pay by cash or cheque please wait until our activities resume. The first two general meetings will be given over to group displays and the payment of membership fees.

Any person who joins during this year will also pay a single fee of £15 or £11.50 irrespective of when of they join, and this will also cover their membership for 21/22.

HOW TO PAY YOUR RENEWAL FEE

Through the Beacon Membership Portal
Payment is made through PayPal but you do not need a PayPal account and can pay by Debit or Credit card
You can pay via the Beacon Membership Portal (CLICK HERE) and you will be taken to the SIGN IN page for Beacon.
To Sign In you will require to enter the following information:-
Membership Number
Forename
Surname
Postcode
Email address
Click on CONFIRM IDENTITY - you will be taken to another page to pay - follow the instructions.

Top Tips
Your forename and surname are case sensitive and must match the details in your members record (this is as displayed on your membership card).
Email and postcode are not case sensitive.
If you are use a tablet such as an Ipad do not allow the device to autofill your name because it will add a space at the end of your name and it then cannot match your record.

BACS
Bank transfer to 20-55-62 93438716 - give your SURNAME and last 4 digits of your phone number as a reference so that the payment is correctly identified. Please email membershipu3a@outlook.com to confirm your payment.

Change in Personal Details
If your personal detail, such as address, telephone, email address have changed please email the membership secretary - membershipu3a@outlook.com or send a message via the contact page
