University of Worcester Seniors Prog.
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic all University of Worcester Seniors Programme sport and group exercise sessions are suspended and the gym and fitness suites at the McClelland Centre at the City Campus and the Sports Hall on the St. Johns Campus are closed until further notice. Membership payments have also been suspended until activities resume. Further information will be posted here as it becomes available.
The 2020 Seniors Games, due to take place from 19 to 21 May, have also been cancelled as a result of the pandemic. Entry fees already paid will be refunded once university staff are able to return to work in their offices.
Keeping Fit During Lock Down
To help seniors keep fit during the current lock down the University has developed a number of short videos of home exercises, ranging in difficulty and length. Additional videos will be added as they become available.

University staff have also developed a new exercise scheme called 6IN6 comprising 6 exercises at Basic and Advanced levels to be completed 6 times a week, and 6 strength exercises (6IN6 Strength) to be completed twice a week.
