Dancing - Flamenco 1 - Beginners
At Ombersley Road Methodist Church - Small Hall, postcode WR3 7BW on Monday afternoon at 13:30hr.
Leader and Contact: C. Tait
Flamenco 1 ~ This is a dance group, suitable for beginners with no knowledge / very little knowledge of Flamenco dance.
Vacancies ~ Full
The aim of this class is to have fun, enjoy the dancing while keeping fit. Flamenco is particularly good for core posture and coordination.
2020 has now arrived and we are locked down with this terrible virus, I hope the members are keeping safe and well.
The start date for the class is 7th September, I feel quite confident that it will be ok to start as it is two and a half months away, also I will be keeping the class as it is now (no new members) so that we will have a bit of room to keep in our own space. I have the new choreographies ready to go, so I look forward to welcoming everyone back.
A note for new members ~ You do not have to be super fit to participate in my class, as long as you can raise your arms and a smile there will be no problems, you will need to have shoes with a thick/block heel (around 1 ~ 1 & half inches) flat shoes are not suitable. There is no need to think about anything else until you have tried the class out, then you may think about getting a wide skirt as the skirt is used quite a lot during our dances. If you have any more questions I will be glad to answer them.
So if you need to ask any questions, please send me your phone number and I will contact you.
I hope our members will enjoy the class.
