General Meetings at 2.15 pm 4th Tuesday of each month and are held at Nailsea Methodist Church, Silver Street, Nailsea BS48 2DS. There will be no meeting in December 2019.

26 FEB Sally Nex - Behind the scenes at Chelsea.

23 APR Phillip Hoyland - Benefits, Brass and the Girtest, Grandest Day. History of Friendly Societies from 18th to 20th century.
21 MAY Woodspring U3A AGM - Your Committee will be considering the best way of celebrating our 25th anniversary.
25 JUN Nigel MacKnight - Adventures of a dyslexic author.
23 JUL Dr Keith Hooper - Victorian Literature. Particularly Charles Dickens, of whom he has written a biography. Copies will be available.
27 AUG Terry Ransome - Joseph Lancaster the poor child's Friend. An early advocate 200 years ago of public education for children.
24 SEP Carol Wood - Votes for Women. Carol will tell us about Suffragettes and Suffragists.
22 OCT Lynda Warren - Beside the Seaside. The rise of the British seaside holiday from the Victorian period with references to Clevedon.
26 NOV Ben Cane - (Author of the "Eagles" trilogy of novels). - Teutoberg Forest Rome's Greatest Defeat.
