Woodside

Welcome to Woodside u3a

Woodside u3a is a self help organisation devoted to lifelong learning and enjoyment and is specifically for people who are no longer in full time paid employment.

The Woodside u3a, formed in Nov. 2016, covers the areas around Woodside, Watford.

It has many study and activity groups, all run for and by the members; a list of these can be found on the Groups page of this website. There are also outings open to all members as well as outings run by specific groups.

Monthly meetings are now being held at The Stanborough Centre, 609 St Albans Road, Garston WD25 9JL. Time: 9.30am for 10am start. First floor room (there is a lift). We look forward to seeing you there. They are held on the third Tuesday of each month. When possible we will return to The Church of the Nazarene, The Brow, Woodside, Watford, WD25 7NW. All Woodside u3a members are welcome to these meetings. Speakers come from a variety of walks of life eg. authors, commentators, experts in a variety of fields etc. The meeting is also a good time to chat with other u3a members over tea and biscuits and find out about groups and outings.

Currently our annual fee is £24 per person.
