Unlike Groups where members have to explicitly join, our Events are open to all.

Below are the events we have planned for the future

Some events will be conducted via Zoom. A link for this will be sent to all members before the event. Zoom is free to use, but you will need a laptop or tablet to access it. If you need help, please contact a member of the Committee

URGENT COVID UPDATE FOR ALL MEMBERS

PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE NEW COVID OMICRON VARIANT , THE COMMITTEE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE. ALL MEMBERS ATTENDING THE MONTHLY MEETING AND THEIR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS GROUPS TO CARRY OUT A LATERAL FLOW TEST PRIOR TO ATTENDING. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL MEMBERS AND THIER FAMILIES.

FACE MASKS SHOULD BE WORN AND SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES SHOULD BE OBSERVED. HAND SANITISER WILL BE SUPPLIED.

IF YOU HAVE NOT ATTENDED A MEETING PREVIOUSLY, PLEASE SHOW EVIDENCE OF YOUR VACCINATION STATUS EITHER BY THE BATCH CARD OR A COVID PASSPORT.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU SHOW ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID OR HAVE HAD A POSITIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST.

Understanding Autism. Jo Minchin
Jo, an autistic woman, will explore the history of autistic study and give an insight into what it’s like from the inside. Jo received her diagnosis 20 years ago and now is Vice Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Autism.

Lincolnshire a Naturalists Paradise. Steve Lovell
Steve, a creator of wildlife friendly gardens and owner of Greenspaces Wildlife and Birdwatching tours will describe the diverse range of wildlife found within Lincolnshire.
Thu Apr 7th General Meeting, Coronation Hall - 2:30 PM to 4PM

Skegness: Nottingham on Sea. Bob Massey
Bob a well known local historian will describe the development of Skegness as a thriving holiday resort.
Thu May 5th Outdoor event because of elections. Possibly treasure hunt or picnic.

Coach Trip to Cambridge PAYMENTS NOW DUE

There will be 35 seats only and the cost is £19. Departure time 8.30am, Stixwould Road Layby. Sign up at the monthly U3A general meetings.

Thu May 19th Grimsthorpe House and Gardens, near Bourne. BOOKINGS NOW BEING TAKEN
Sat Jul 30th Tolethorpe Hall Theatre to see 'Hay Fever' by Noel Coward. BOOKINGS NOW BEING TAKEN
Coach will depart at 9am and there will be plenty of time in Stamford before the 1:30 performance.

Cost is £34 and payment must be made by 7th April
