Social Issues

Coordinator : Neil Moreland

Social Issues is a discussion forum led by group members who often provide prior reading and lead/manage the interactions. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, which can make our discussions lively. We decide on a subject and one or more of our members makes a presentation which is followed by open discussion. We do not aim to reach a consensus, though often we do. Instead, the intention is to share our ideas, learn together and sharpen our perspectives.

The Social Issues Group meets at 10 am on the fourth Thursday of the month. These meetings currently occur via the Zoom programme on the Internet so a good internet connection is required. Please contact me if you are not currently a member, but wish to attend a Zoom meeting, and/or the face-to-face meetings when they recommence. Please use link on right of page to email me if you wish to contact me.
