We welcome prospective members visiting us for the first time and would like to offer attendance at two Speaker meetings prior to joining.

RENEWALS

Renewals are due on 1st April. Please complete a Membership Form from the links below.

SUBSCRIPTION

The annual membership fee is £20.00. This can be varied depending on the month the application is received, as shown below. Membership will be required to be renewed from 1st April annually.

Renewing Members
April 1st to April 30th (Early Bird Discount): £15
May to March: £20

New Members
March 1st - April 30th (Early Bird Discount): £15
May to September: £20
October to December: £15
January to February: £10

The above fees are per member, for two members at the same address double the appropriate fee.
These fees include a £4.00 capitation fee paid to our national organisation, the Third Age Trust, which provides a wide range of services and benefits, including liability insurance cover; this £4.00 is not due when Witney u3a is your second u3a membership.

Associate Members (ie Members of another u3a)
Reduce the above fee by £4.00 per member

If you pay by Bank Transfer please do not make payment before 1st April.

You must be a member of the U3A before joining any groups.

On-line Form

Our form to complete on-line is available here: On-line Membership Form 2024-25. Please complete and submit the form and if possible, pay by Bank Transfer. You will need to execute the Bank transfer direct with your Bank in the normal way - see the form (Membership Fees section) for the necessary details; it is not possible to pay through the form directly. PLEASE DO NOT PAY BY BANK TRANSFER BEFORE 1ST APRIL. If you have difficulty making payment please ensure you have used the correct account name as per the form. Google Forms has been used to construct the on-line form. If you have any difficulty in completing or submitting the form please contact the Webmaster

If possible, please pay your membership subscription by bank transfer but not before 1st April (bank details on page 1), with your name as the reference, and send this form to the Witney u3a Membership Secretary at infowitneyu3a@gmail.com

Terms and Conditions of Membership.

The u3a is a non-religious and non-political organisationand is open to all who are no longer in full time employment

All members must:

  • Abide by the Principles of the u3a.
  • Always act in the best interests of U3A and never do anything to bring U3A into disrepute.
  • Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution.
  • Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee.
  • Advise the committee of any change in their personal details.

Privacy Statment.

Your personal details will be held in a secure database and will be used solely for the purposes of administration and the communication of the newsletter. They will not be supplied to an outside agency or party other than for you to receive the Third Age Matters magazine which is directly mailed. You can request for your consent to this use can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the Membership Secretary
