Classical Music 1
The group meets monthly at 10.00 on the fourth Friday of each month. All meetings take place in the same member’s house. The group’s aim is to widen members’ experience of music, often by introducing a less well-known piece of music. A wide range of composers has been featured. The meeting is very relaxed, and we do not attempt to analyse the music. At each meeting members bring a choice of several pieces of music, each lasting not more than about 10-12 minutes. In this way each member will play one and sometimes two items. We do not have a set theme for a meeting.
