Table Tennis

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BE A FULLY PAID UP MEMBER OF WITHAM U3A BEFORE YOU CAN ATTEND AN INTEREST GROUP.

The Table Tennis section is a joint venture between Tiptree and Witham U3As. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month (except for Bank Holidays) at the Rivenhall Village Hall from 13.30 to 16.30.

You will need to provide your own suitable footwear but we will provide all that is needed. There are 3 tables and the hall is well-lit and spacious and there is adequate car parking.

The standard varies but there are opportunities for all with the usual doubles format. At half-time, there is tea and coffee and cakes. There is a contribution of £4.00 each per session.

Whilst there is no formal coaching, we are all "improvers" and the atmosphere is both competitive and encouraging.

New members will be made very welcome, so why not come along and see if you enjoy it?

To find out more and/or directions to the hall, please use the Blue Bird icon (on the right hand side of this page) to contact the group organiser (Ken Hazell 01621 892417)
