The Long Players

The long players is a U3a Group for those people who would like to meet and share music on vinyl LPs which is special to them.
There is something particularly evocative about the LP format, both the medium itself, and the album art and production of the cover.
We wanted an opportunity for people to bring along their LPs, to listen to some tracks, and maybe to give a bit of insight into the reasons why the track was chosen. However by all means bring along a CD if the LP version is not available.
It will be a light hearted, convivial group meeting once per month in the evening on a Friday. Please check the events for actual dates each month.
