MEMBERS' PORTAL

The Windsor & District U3A's Members' Portal enables our members to view the personal details we hold for them and to correct and amend them as required. Members can also renew their membership through the portal, see below for further details.

The membership period runs from 1st January to 31st December and the annual membership fee per member is £14.

Also, providing their annual subscription is due, members can renew through the portal and make payment using either a debit or credit card, or by PayPal. This is safe & secure - it also reduces administration and speeds up the whole process, compared to cheque, cash or even bank transfer.

Please note, on entering the portal, members will have to identify themselves by entering their membership number; forename; surname; postcode and email address - they must be entered exactly as you registered in Beacon (or have updated most recently).

Beacon can be a bit 'fussy' and if you get anything wrong, it often doesn't tell you what, or even acknowledge your attempt has failed, it just clears all the fields so it looks like nothing happened - this can be frustrating - it's beyond our control, but we have tips below that may help you succeed.

1) Your Membership Number can be found in your renewal invitation or any Newsletter e-mail you've been sent
2) Always enter your Forename as registered; e.g. if you registered as 'Dave', entering 'David' will cause a failure
3) The Surname field is case sensitive; so don't forget to capitalise the first letter
4) The Postcode field must have a space in the appropriate place
5) The e-mail address must be a valid format (e.g. with '@' and '.') and match what you previously supplied
6) Your browser must also have JavaScript enabled (it is by default), but if you have disabled it, that will be a problem (see https://enable-javascript.com/ )

NB Please do not enter anything in the Emergency Contact box, if you do, it will be deleted due to GDPR issues that arise if we hold that information. Unfortunately we cannot remove the box from the form on Beacon.

Our membership period runs from 1st January to 31st December and the annual membership fee per member for 2019 is £14, reducing to £8 when joining after the end of June. You can pay your subscription fee using either a debit or credit card, or by PayPal. On joining you will receive a welcome email from us confirming all details entered by you and a receipt for your payment.
