Monthly Meetings
Our monthly meetings, at which we usually have a guest speaker, are held in Abbey Fields Community Centre, Back Lane, Winchcombe on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except August) from 2pm to 4pm You are cordially invited to stay on after the talk to enjoy coffee/tea and biscuits and have a chat with other members. There is no admission charge for members, although you may be asked you to show your membership card at the door. A suggestions/comments box is available at these meetings, affording you the opportunity to let the Committee know your views and thoughts.

Outings
Details are shown with each event. We suggest you book early to secure your place and remember that non-members are welcome also. Places will only be allocated on receipt of your cheque and these should be made payable to Winchcombe Area U3A, and the trip noted on back.

Tour of Studios will be at 10.00hrs. There is a cafe at the Bristol museum or you can make your own arrangements.
ID photo is a must and airport style security is in place, so no large bags.

Depart Winchcombe 0900hrs for a guided tour Hellens House, a
Tudor Manor House. Lunch is available to purchase and you can see the menu on their website or take a picnic. Depart 1345 for Westons Cider Mill nearby for guided tour and tasting. Some walking and stairs involved. Cream tea available payable on site.

Depart Winchcombe 0930hrs. Guided tour of 15th Century Castle with award winning gardens, riverside walk, maze and sunken gardens.
Optional Lunch is available in the Orangery Cafe, please see website for menu, or take a picnic to eat on the bus if wet.
Return 1600hrs to arrive back aprox. 1730hrs. Cost £27

Mon Jul 6thOutingBROUGHTON GRANGE GARDENS & ARBORETUM
Depart 1000hrs. The gardens are are set in over 400 acres of beautifully undulating north Oxfordshire countryside. Created by Chelsea gold winner Tom Stuart-Smith and recommended by our recent U3A speaker Vanessa Berrige.
There will be a 2hr Guided tour with Head Gardeners and plants are available to buy There is a small cafe on site, but notice is required if a ploughmans lunch required to purchase. Picnics are allowed in grounds and there will be free time to explore.
Cost £28 includes tea/coffee and cake. Depart 1500hrs.
