Monthly Meetings
Our monthly meetings, at which we usually have a guest speaker, take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm. From August we are planning to resume these at Abbey Fields Community Centre with the option to tune in via Zoom for those who would prefer. A catch up is available via our YouTube channel so please ask for the link if you would like to view.

National Office offer a number of workshops, webinars and interactive sessions delivered by members for members, which are free to join by following the link.

Sat May 21st | Social | 40th Anniversary Event The U3A movement in England turns 40 years old in 2022 and Winchcombe will be marking this milestone with an evening of celebration at Toddington Village Hall Doors open at 6:30 – and we will begin with a welcome drink and supper. We have two live bands to entertain us through the evening - local stars! The Apple Mashers and The Yee-Haa band. Cost £7.50 and you can bring your own bottles for the evening. |
Mon May 23rd | Outing | Hampton Court Castle and Gardens in Herefordshire on 23rd May and the cost will be £23 p.p. This will include a guided tour of the castle. Lovely gardens, river walks , a maze and an Orangery cafe. Please see their website for more details. We will depart at 0930hrs and return at 1700hrs approx. If you wish to book please send a cheque made to Winchcombe Area U3a and deliver or post to Di Smith at 5, The Halt Close, Becketts Lane, Greet, GL54 5RN. |

Mon Jun 20th | Outing | National Trust Upton House and Gardens near Banbury A Stately Home with 1930's displays. Gardens, terraces, walking trails, bookstore and cafe. Private collection of art works. COST £10 to National Trust members or £23 to non members. Journey time 1 hour approx. |

Wed Jul 6th | Workshop | Cotswold Link Special Interest Day at The Pavilion, Cheltenham Four talks on the theme Mitigating Climate Change & Environmental ImpactsThis Special Interest Day is open to members of all the u3as affiliated to the Cotswold Link network. The wide range of topics connected to climate change will include what we can do as individuals.

Mon Jul 11th | Outing | Kenilworth Castle and Gardens. Built in 1570's and transformed into private use in 1640. Now you can visit the Tower, walk in the footsteps of Elizabeth I in gardens, see an exhibition in the stables, The Norman Keep, stop in the Stables Tearoom PLUS visit The Armstrong Siddeley motor Exhibition. The trip will include a talk/tour " Love Story in Ruins" about Elizabeth I and Robert Dudley. Cost is £26 for the bus, the tour and entry. |
