|Mersey Tunnel Tour (date and prices to be agreed) Tour of the Queensway Tunnel and it's contruction in 1934. Contact Barbara Hardy|
|Note there are many steps involved in this behind the scenes tour so this trip isn't suitable for members with mobility or breathing difficulties.|
Booking is essential to reserve places on all Social Events and Outings as they are dependant on numbers and are due to cancellation if insufficient numbers of members register their interest.

Always bring along your receipt when attending any outing as they will be required to access the coach.

|Wed Oct 9th||Royal Liver Building Visit- visit to the Liver Building, the world's first skyscraper on a new 70 minute(approx) tour. Wigan to Liverpool return by train. There is a lift to the 10th floor for great views of the city and the more interpid can tackle the remaining 124 steps(74 on a narrow stone staircase) to the top. Note this is a high and narrow space so not recommended for those with a fear of heights or confined spaces. Contact Barbara Hardy|

|Wed Feb 26th 2020||St Helens World Of Glass Make your own way there, the World Of Glass is a 5 to 10 minute from the railway station. Visit costs £5(as of September 2019).
