There are five movements in this exercise coming from a very ancient system Zhan Zhuang, Tai Chi is a branch as are all the martial arts plus medical knowledge of a high order known as acupuncture. All are energy level raisers and body balancers as well as core alignments. We are pure energy vibrating at our individual frequency, experiences sometimes cause disharmony and we fall out of our natural alignment. Standing like a tree rebalances a person and generates more energy, it is very easy to do and all you have to do is follow them at your level of fitness, never exceed your comfort zone i.e: if you cannot bend your knees initially then don’t and only you know how far you can bend or stretch. Over a couple of months you will notice a difference it just requires your attention.
The second part of the hour will be spent in first learning Meditation then doing it for 10 minutes leading up to 20 as you become more in tune with peace and silence. Mind and Body in harmony are a great asset in this busy negative media age. It is important to take time out and just learn to be. It is a very good tool to have in our armoury, a tool for life. I do hope you come along to try it. 10 12 people maximum. There is a lot of laughter involved as we learn together.
