Out and About
This is a new Group formed in early 2020. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 no trips were made during 2020 & 2021.
Outings began in 2022.
The Group Leader would welcome any suggestions from U3A members of places to visit.

30 Nov - Pitlochry Festival Theatre to see the musical "Sunshine on Leith"

3 Jan - "One Life" film about Nicholas Winton's part in the Kindertransport, Vue Cinema, Livingston
18 Apr - "Hamilton" musical, Festival Theatre, Edinburgh. (This is a pre-booked event for a limited number.)
May - Glenton Select 5 day trip to "Shakespeare Country and the Cotswolds" costing £499 + £160, Single Room supplement + £24 insurance. Departure date, Sun 12 May. Included is a day trip to the northern Cotswold villages of Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold and a day to Oxford. There is extensive walking involved on these two days.
A third day involves a cruise on the canal and River Avon followed by free time in Stratford.
A door to door service is provided for passengers on this trip.

The Out and About Group now includes the former Theatre and Travel groups.
Theatre events include drama, musicals & ballet. Cinemas screening live drama are also included.
Trips will be arranged following appropriate suggestions from group members, and can be day trips or longer excursions.
