West Cheshire Rural

Discussion

This group meets fortnightly in the Boys' Room in the Barbour Institute commencing 11.1.2022

We recognise that the U3A is an apolitical and non-religious organisation but no subject is off the table, and discussion is invariably started spontaneously by a member raising an issue that has grabbed their attention; there is no agenda. Members are encouraged to support their views with facts, or from personal experience of their own careers.

We are currently some 14 strong which generally gives a group of around ten attending which is felt to be approaching the limit that allows everyone to have a say. Potential new members would be welcome on a 'try before you buy' basis, but it might be suggested that starting a second group could be more appropriate.
