Gift Aid and You
West Cheshire Rural u3a (WCRu3a) is a registered charity enabling us to claim the benefits of joining the Gift Aid scheme (a Government initiative that allows charities like us to claim 25p for every £1.00 donation we receive) e.g. if 100 members sign up, WCRu3a receives £450.00 (equivalent to 25 new members). If 150 members sign up, the benefit rises to £675.00.
The extra funding is a welcome way of countering year-on-year inflation rises and maintaining the excellent value of your membership fee.
