U3A National News
Note: the U3A National Organisation is also referred to as the Third Age Trust (TAT).
The U3A, both nationally and locally, has always been involved in research projects of various kinds. A booklet titled Getting Involved in Research has been produced and can be viewed or downloaded here Research Guide
The National Research Subcommittee has produced a database with the aim of recording any research that involves the U3A.
The database has 677 projects listed (as at 23/9/17); 27 from the North East and one from Wessington (Residents of Wessington killed WW1 from the Harraton War Memorial, by the U3A War Memorials Group).
The database can be searched in various ways, including: by topic, region, keyword, organisation, etc.
