Purpose A light hearted learning group, meeting to present and discuss any subject which could be defined as, or linked with an ‘ology’. (the Oxford dictionary definition of ology is - A subject of study; a branch of knowledge.)
Meetings The first Tuesday usually bi-monthly 10am – 12noon at St Mary's Centre
If you have a particular interest or pastime (or invent one) that you would like to share with us – please come along to our next meeting or contact the convenor. Do come along and be enlightened.
November meeting - Herpetology - reptiles. Colourful chameleons, cute frogs, ugly toads, noisy geckos, large iguanas, delicate monitor lizards, ferocious Komodo dragons, menacing King Cobras and slithering sidewinders, all these were discussed and proved very interesting subjects.
