REGULAR PROGRAMME
When and Where
We walk on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of each month. The starting time is 10.00am from a car park - often a pub - and we return there for lunch. Walks are circular, taking about 2½ hours and covering about 5-6 miles. They are planned and led by members.

In the warmer months we sometimes do longer more adventurous walks, listed below under the title *Special*.

Shorter monthly walks for Strollers are available on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month, starting at 10.30am, lasting 1–1½ hours and covering 2 to 3 miles. Please see the separate Strollers group page for more details.

There is also an Intermediate Walking group that offers walks of around 4 miles for group members. See the separate Walking Intermediate page for full details.

Planning
Planning is done by the Convenors and we are always looking for volunteers from within the group to plan and lead walks.

Walk Programmes
Information on future walks is kept updated on this page and it is recommended that members check here regularly as new information is added on a regular basis.

Signing Up for a Walk
Please sign up for walks in advance, either at the Monthly Meeting or contact Brian E to book a place (via the 'Click to send a message!' link at the top right of this page)

On the Walk
All members walk at their own risk.
Sometimes a group photograph is taken which could end up displayed on this webpage. If you prefer not to be in them please stand to one side.

To contact either of the Convenors please send a message by clicking on the link above and to the right.

Check this website the day before each walk for last minute changes to the published details. It could save you a wasted journey.

All start times are 10.00am unless otherwise stated.
