Walking Group

If you want some fresh air, exercise and new friends do come and join us

- there are spaces available in our Walking Group.

When and Where
We walk on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of each month. The starting time is 10.00am from a car park - often a pub - and we return there for lunch. Walks are circular, taking about 2½ hours and covering about 5 miles. They are planned and led by members.

In the warmer months we do some longer more adventurous walks, listed below under the title *Special*.

Shorter monthly walks for Strollers are available on the 4th Thursday of each month, starting at 10.30am, lasting 1–1½ hours and covering 2 to 3 miles. See Strollers group page for more details.)

Programme
Each Member receives a written Programme for a 6 month period which lists the location and a brief description of each walk together with the Leader's name and contact details.

Planning
Walk leaders volunteer to plan and lead a walk at planning meetings held in March and September.
