Singing for Fun
Do come and join us - there are spaces available in this group.
Purpose
To enjoy singing and welcome any members who feel they would like a good sing!
Format
We begin with a few vocal exercises before the singing starts. We have a few old favourites which are fun to sing and good practice for voices.
We also work on songs (usually from a particular musical or genre) to produce a short entertainment for U3A members on our December meeting day. These provide a goal to aim for, during the year.
We break about halfway through for a drink and chat for 10 mins.
When and Where
We meet every 2nd Wednesday in the month at Halton Village Hall at 11.15am until 12.45pm.
A concert of Burt Bacharah songs and carols will be on the last meeting, December 11th 2024. Tickets available at the main meetings £2 including mulled wine and stollen. Venue TBC.
