|Meeting Pattern||Friday 2pm for 6 sessions|
I am starting a new group that aims to leave you feeling good about yourself. This self-help group will teach you about the body’s natural responses to stressful situations and introduce you to several ways to feel calmer and more relaxed. Relaxation techniques can help to relieve nervous suffering, panic attacks, tension headaches and other stress related conditions.
You will learn:
- To understand yourself better so that you can work with your body and not against it.
- Where you have stored up unhelpful tensions in your body and how you can re-learn a more relaxed approach to everyday life.
- A very calming breathing pattern; you will be surprised how much difference good breathing makes to the way you feel.
- Deep Relaxation technique for you to use therapeutically when you need it.
You need to wear loose comfy clothing and bring thick socks.
The class will be on six consecutive Friday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm.
