|Meeting pattern||3rd Monday at 10.30 am|
|Venue||Wells Not currently meeting face-to-face|
The Open Minds Group meets on the third Monday in the month at a member’s house to discuss a variety of topics chosen in advance by the group.
Each month a different person presents a topic, and the format varies. For example, the presenter may do some prior research and lead the first part of the session, then give the opportunity for us to contribute our own views. Or the presenter may suggest some points in advance for us all to think about and then he or she will lead the meeting.
Recent past sessions have been on the topics: Artificial intelligence, Remembrance - how we handle memories, Plastics packaging and recycling, Financial inequality, How much longer have we got on this planet?, Learn to leave the past behind, and The power of art.
At the moment, the group has vacancies, so if you are interested, please contact me via the pigeon icon on this page.
