Falmouth Holiday 2021

Cornwall holiday
September 2021
Despite all the restrictions imposed by the covid pandemic, we went ahead with this very enjoyable holiday.
We started with a visit to Saltram House, designed by Robert Adam, near the River Plym on a beautiful sunny day. Good weather stayed with us for most of the holiday, as we visited Trelissick gardens, with wonderful views down the Fal estuary, and the popular fishing port of Fowey.
We had a free day to explore Falmouth in the sunshine.
A last minute change to the holiday allowed us to visit Truro Cathedral and Bodmin jail on our only wet day.
Our last day was spent at the ever-expanding Lost Gardens of Heligan before we returned home.
