Wroxeter walk
Our August walk was around Wroxeter. Jenny and Di led a long and varied walk starting and ending at the Horseshoe Inn, Uckington. On the return route we visited St Andrew's Church, which is well worth a visit. Inside the church there are three 16th-centurary tombs, life-size and painted. They commemorate Sir Thomas Bromely and his wife and daughter. We passed by the Roman city Wroxeter, and after our long walk enjoyed refreshments at The Horseshoe Inn.
