The Holiday group tries to find interesting coach holidays advertised with Wellington as one of its joining points. Although individual members are responsible for booking with the coach company and arranging their own insurance, it is comforting to know that there will be some friends on the same holiday, particularly for those who are single and may not relish holidaying alone. If you wish to suggest a particular holiday, let one of the committee members know and they will find out if it appeals to others in the group.

Past Holidays

December 10th-14th 2018 Thursford Spectacular, Great Yarmouth Turkey & Tinsel. 5 Day Holiday with Blakes. The holiday went very well, staying at the excellent New Beach Hotel opposite the Britannia pier and we all enjoyed the Thursford Spectacular.

One of our Scottish holidays was to Loch Long, a very scenic area. The excursions included a trip to Fort William with the option of a ride in a gondola which took us half way up Ben Nevis where there was a recent fall of snow. On another day we explored the city of Glasgow with its impressive buildings and interesting art galleries. A cruise on Loch Lomond was a delightful experience and a visit to Glenturret whiskey distillery near Crieff where we were shown how whiskey is distilled and aged was very educational

Any suggestions for future holidays will be welcomed.
